This would be the highlight of my life i think. Somedays that you wont forget. Today while taking a break from my work, I got sting be a BEE. OMG. That was quite electricuting. Its definitely pain like hell when it happens. I got a picture of it, but Im too lazy to post it up currently. (Just got back from Hyatt work =.=''' 2 shifts today). Will never never forget this day, and just checking on my arm again..hmmm...a huge red patch, about 7cm in diameter. =.=''' hopefully I would be alright tomorrow.
Oh btw, I actually got a new job currently. =P~ sad isnt it, 1.5 years upon graduation but I still yet to have a full-time job employment. The longest currently is 6 months in real estate which I enjoy doing a lot, but due to financial reasons, I got to leave. But currently, Im working from the bottom of a electronic wholesale company called X-ON Electronics. They seems to be quite big, and have plenty of opportunity to move around with their new joint venture into China, HK, and Taiwan. Yesterday their boss came to have a chat with me, and see whether anot I can speak chinese, hopefully his looking into getting me into some other roles besides the bottom entry role. =D There we go, got to climb the ladder i suppose.
Today's work in Hyatt is pretty exciting as well. I was not doing any banquet work today, as I believe this is like their quiet time, so not many events happening. So I was roaster on Room Service. LOL. It is definitely soemthing more of a .....physical demanding exercise than a banquet staff. I was practically delivering food for 3 hours, and spend another 1.5 hours collecting them. =.=''' Hyatt has 9 floors with roughly 45 per room, So, to be easy, I have basically walked pass 400 rooms today at least twice. Distance travelled should be around...i donno, 5KM maybe? Thats a lot of walking. XD
But oh well, I think its time to sleep. Would love to update more, got so many things to say, like I cut my hair, jessie and shirley gathering, me working as a picker and packer, what else? Zzzzzzz.....

Malaysia Boleh! (Tukar Sikit)
On Saturday I was serving a wedding event of Indian and Chinese, and that chinese happen to be a Malaysian (the father mentioned that "it seems like yesterday when Yuan, was in Taman Desa" ), I see the ugly side of Malaysians.
I also went to Motor Show at the Convention Centre on Sunday. Im not a big fan of cars, but defintely like some of the unique one there. =D But looking at all the models and stuffs, I think I still prefer higher cars, like the Jeeps and Pajero type. But if I got to choose, I might choose the Aston Martin, the James Bond car in Casino Royale. Looks really smoooth and powderful.

But never forget to enjoy the ride....
- They were late for the event
- They were very rude when requesting for something
- They are very fussy
- They dislike too many glasses on their table (they request all the glasses to be removed during the dinner, which of course created more problems for us as we were serving entreas and main because they insist that we should clear them ASAP)

Office VS Labour
After 3 days at Hyatt, I kinda feel that this job is pretty easy. What I was doing this 3 days was mainly, banquet preparations at the ballrooms.
Setting up tables, preparing the utensils, preparing the plates and bowls, polishing the glasses, stacking chairs, a bit of serving, cleaning up, removing chairs and tables, chating, drinking free cokes, eating biscuits, eating left over fruits (still fresh of course). What else? Hmmmmm. Nothing much really, more like a labour job than a career job currently. But I'll look around for placement at other department to learn more about hospitality. =D I saw their website stating that a new management training development course will start around June. So I might take a look at it. =D
Thinking back on what I was doing with accounting, audit, taxations, ledger, data entry, checking for mistakes, balance sheet preparation, trial balance, hmmmmm....its really an office work. =D Currently, Im enjoying myself at the hospitality industry more than the accounting industry, maybe because its easy, or maybe because I do not enjoy doing accounting, but I never the less, doing Food and Beverages only, does not bring me to the top, I shall look for more opportunities within the group. So to everyone out there, lets work hard together! GAMBATE!!

First day at Hyatt
Woooo~~ today was my first day doing some hospitality work. =D Today, I have sign a part time job position as food and attendant aka banquet staff with Hyatt. The pay is not very high as i expected it to be because there was a choice between a casual and a part-time and it was my choice in which to choose.
Casual, hourly rate during weekdays is 18.50 bucks, with weekend as high as 21.50 but may not get shift if there isnt work.
Part-time, 14.50 per hour standard, with annual leave totalling 20 days + 10 days of sick leave. With preference of getting shifts.
I was very very very tempted to sign as a casual, but in the end i took on the part-time job. Just because I think its much more secured, and at the same time, I can get paid holidays too. And sick leaves, and preference of shifts. Not sure whether is it a smart move, but I think i will be needing those holidays sometimes too. =P
But the thing that made me thinking again, was that after we sign the contract, when we meet up with our manager, it seems that they are short of staffs. So...hmm...kept me thinking, should I signed as a casual, I should be able to get those shifts as well. Sigh...too much to think. Just stick to a permanent part-time. Should Im working too hard or too much, i might as them to offer me a full time employment after 3 months, should be pay is higher. =D
So what I did during my first day? Well, went through the back of the hotels a lot. Like the kitchen, laundry, uniform, house keeping, bar, all the ballrooms, locker, human resource, what else? I think thats all the places I have been in the hotel.
Work scope today: Help setting up 44 tables for tomorrow breakfast function, which i need to attend at 6:00AM. =.=''' , fill up cereals for all the tables, fold napkins for the table, set up small function room, vacumn =.='''', stacking chairs, cleaning tables, and the first thing that came into my mind was VERY SPRING FEAST/ PASAR MALAM.
Oh well, today was quite an interesting day as I generally got to see how does a hotel operates. ~~ but i got to say, my poor leg~~ rest well tonight. Lol. Night all, 6AM shift tomorrow.

Go go go!
Save save save save save!!
Time to get some money coming in. Got a weekend job, not sure whether i meantioned this, but im currently working at the Subiaco Oval serving beers to the OZs. Not a hard job, as what i do is just, "May I help you?", pour beer from the tap, and open can of spirits, and grab chips. Occassionally I worked at the cashier, but thats rarely. With just 2 shifts so far, I think it should take longer before Im in charge of the cashier. But I got to say that the environment there is just CRAZY. With YAYYYYY~~~ and the BOOOOOOOOOOOssssss its really earth shaking.
I've also got a part-time job at Hyatt. Got the Food and Beverages Attendant that pays 18 bucks for weekdays and 21 for weekend. Not too bad pay given that my starting pay as an accountant is only 15 bucks. =.=''' but different loads and shifts of course. I wouldnt really mind the job, as im currently looking to get into a different field than just accounting. =P A bit of a waste? Hmm....maybe? But I think i wouldnt be too happy with just accounting anyway. So...life is about making decision as i mentioned before, So...my decision is to reach my goal, which is saving up for my next adventure to China. =D
So what is next? Hmm...nothing much currently besides trying to get myself back into the workforce again. =.=''' been lazying enough i suppose. Hehe. Stop renting movies, stopped playing games, its working time Eric!! *slaps both cheeks* GAMBATE!

Full-Time SEEKING Employment/ Life
My current life is quite interesting. Im unemployed, but I am quite a full time job seeker. I had 7 interview last week, I had 3 interview this morning, and I got 4 interviews tomorrow. Its really getting back on track since I started applying to Accounting practice again, but the question is still, IS THIS WHAT I WANT?
I have been doing accounting ever since I finished high school. Why? I donno. Is it what i like? I donno. I have experience in accounting before, family business accoounting clerk, intenship with kpmg, graduate accountant with Cormac Sharkey, but none lasted long, is this a sign? Sighh....
I recently found out that I kinda like hospitality. Like the interview that i went this morning. Its from Hyatt Hotel for Food and Beverages Attendant. =.=''' A degree holder went to do some Food and Beverages Attendant? Sighh...Is it EGO? Not really, I would say I would love that job, good money, good environment, and good starting point for hospitality progression. But is it a WASTE to the degree?
Hence came to the question. What is life? Born, learning, studying, graduating, looking for work, working, families, babies, retire, then what? =.=''' and who am I talk about life since im only a quater life old. XD sighh...again....sighhh...
Oh well, time to make decision...WAIT... now i remmeber. I always say life is about decision making, and I got to make a decision. I have made a decission a couple of weeks back, where we decided to go back to Malaysia at the end of this year..for good for various reasons
1) I'm not quite plannnig to do accounts anymore so there isnt a need to stay back here to do my CA
2) I would love to have a new start
3) Perth is too slow pace
4) I might be going to China
Oh well, Im kinda lost and confused myself. But currently, my wallet is drying up, so the core is still, LOOK FOR A F$&@-ing job ERIC. LOL. Thats life........isnt it?

Birthday and Birthdays~~~
Happy Birthday to Elaine and Jerkie~~ =D Best wishes to both of you and may your dreams come true! Here are some pictures to share!
First birthday was with Elaine's~ Happy 23rd birthday and surprisingly, I think it have been...7-8 years since I last celebrate birthday with her! I came to Perth when I was 17, and I left my previous school, SSBR when I was 14. Hmmm....Could be more than that..hmm..but never mind! Live in the present not the past! We had dinner together at Sparrow with Renee, Tong2, and Jessie and it was quite good! And finally cake and tea. So a Big Happy birthday to you and may your dream (getting married) come true soon! *_*
There was a lot of fun and drinking involve! Karaoke event was held at Utopia and it was great. Havent been to a Karaoke for quite sometime so all the songs that Im singing was really CLASSIC compared to the news songs that is available now. I have quite a low voice so Im READ-ing instead of SING-ing. Need some vocal practice maybe? There was a competition on how many cheese balls and burger rings that you can stuff in your mouth and it was priceless!! Just look at the pictures! And we have a poser (Jessie) who still manage to place a finger on her chick!! Good work mui!
As for my life, its still flat and boring. Movies, and job hunting still. I think i need to focus on getting a job to gain some income instead of watiing here and waiting for durian to fall!! Come on Eric! *slap slap face* Go go Jia You! Gambate!!
